Editorial Services
Hi, I'm Angie, a certified Book Coach and accredited Editor. It's my goal to help you get your words out into the world. As someone who has guided over two dozen books and hundreds of articles from the writing stage to publication, I have the skills to take you through the process. From my initial assessment to the final edit, you can rely on my expertise to help make your project the best it can be, whether I'm acting as your coach or your editor.
Honest, straightforward, and to the point, I'll be clear about what works and what doesn't. I'm respectful of the hard work that goes into writing and will give you the feedback needed to help you succeed.
My coaching style is firm but kind, with the goal of helping you develop good habits, hone your skills, and build confidence. My editorial assessments consider the big picture and provide frank evaluations and suggestions. As a developmental editor, I'll help you focus on and refine themes, develop characters, and correct inconsistencies. As a copy editor or proofreader, I wield my metaphorical red pen ferociously, with a sharp eye for detail and extensive familiarity with AP, APA, and Chicago style books. My quotes include free Zoom meetings to touch base and review your progress. I'm also available for free consultations to determine exactly what phase your book is in and what your next steps should be. Ready to go to print? I can help to guide you through the mine-laden landscape of finding an agent or choosing to self-publish.
Looking for help with something smaller or more specific? I'm happy to give you a quote. All of my services are available on an hourly basis for resumes, college papers, query letters, book blurbs, articles, and more.
